Ms. Kempson was born in Burbank, California. She earned her bachelors degree in psychology in 1980 from California State University, Northridge. In 1983, she earned her juris doctorate from Loyola Law School, where she was a member of the Loyola Law Review. She was admitted to the State Bar of California and the Bar of the United States District Court for the Central District of California in 1983. She is also admitted to the Bar of the United States Court of Appeal, Ninth Circuit.
Ms. Kempson has trial, arbitration and mediation experience. She specializes in general negligence, products liability and complex multi-party litigation.
