Chapman, Glucksman & Dean does not conform to the rigid structure compelled upon some law firms of requiring attorneys to be "departmentalized" into single practice areas, which tends to suffocate broad-based legal knowledge, and stifle creativity and intuition. Instead, our lawyers perform with several different practice groups within the firm.
By taking part in two or even three such groups, our lawyers remain actively involved in numerous, interrelated areas of legal practice. For example, it is not uncommon for an attorney that specializes in legal malpractice to be a member of the firm's Legal and Accounting Malpractice practice group, as well as the Business and Employment Litigation practice group. Likewise, an attorney that primarily engages in construction-related matters will not only be a member of the firm's Construction Defect practice group, but also, the Environmental/Toxic Damage practice group.
The use of practice groups allows the attorneys in each to share information firm-wide on legal developments that directly impact the pro-active representation of our clients. Thus, our clients are the immediate beneficiaries of such active interaction, in all areas of our practice, and at all levels of our representation - - trial, appellate, and supreme court. |
